Today it was going to be apparently a typical day. But all of the sudden, things happened, and a whole new reality opened its huge door wide open for me.

Let me tell you what happened that made it so special.

It all began when I attended my Wednesdays’ yoga class. Then the miracle started. We were talking with the teacher about meditation and how we feel about it; if it was easy or hard just to quiet the mind. We were about to start our practice.

And it was then when one of the girls came into the room apologizing for being late.

“I’m sorry, but there is traffic jam a few blocks from here; it seemed like there was an accident,” she said. “I wish I could feel safe in this city. Either way, I finally made it.”

We all looked at each other because she’d just said something so important. Feeling safe… Actually, who was feeling totally safe in the room? No one did!

But, why were we feeling unsafe? We had a dozen reasons, and we realized that these unsafely was taking us away from our center and our true self.

And then the teacher shot these questions. “How would it be if you knew you are safe? How does it feel to be safe?

One of the girls cried. And we looked at each other again. I gave her a tissue, and she asked me to hold her, I did, and I realized I needed this hug too.

We all ended up crying together and then we could express our feelings.

How does it feel to be safe? Free! Loved! Inspired! Confident! Protected! Consequently, our true self popped out immediately. It was the best and happiest moment that we could have had.

Do you know what came up then?

Our teacher started the yoga class, and we connect beautifully. Amazingly, the asanas flowed like never before, and we were in awe of our flexibility and strength.

Let me tell you that we learned that we have always been either flexible and strong, but we didn’t feel safe enough to let our true-self to flow so freely.

It was an especially relevant experience that I can’t forget. And now that I know what it’s like to be safe, I want to be and feel safe for the rest of my life. As a result, safety has become my permanent life qualia. It’s a continuous consciousness.

Surprisingly, another thing happened, I can’t stop writing. Creativity is loose!

Miracles happened today.
